The last post was a week ago, so time for an update.
Uploaded some pics again two days ago but Airliners.net has been unavialable so i think something went wrong with the upload......
The Corrs are giving a concert in Ahoy on October 19th. Glad i was able to buy a ticket. During shopping i also bought the debut album of dutch artist Do, known for her song 'Heaven".

Finally time for some text.....
All pics have been uploaded and are online. I'm only waiting for the pics i uploaded last night, but i trust those will be online within the next 24 hours.
Have been to NAS Valkenburg for a base visit. Only two "Orion" aircraft outside, a bit disappointing after waiting a long time for a base visit but glad to have both the old colours and new colours on digital photo. Pics are online, see links. A few days a go i went to a concert in rotterdam, hosted by dutch artist Marco Borsato. Had a great time and can't wait for the concert DVD to arrive in the shop.

A quick note.... Have two days off and busy with uploading pics i took the last view days. Mom and siter are away for the weekend, so i have the house for myselfe.
Starting evening shift on saturday, so i hope all pics are online by then.

Well, most part of the day i have been busy with the slides i picked up yesterday. It's not only checking if they are good but i also have to put the info in my database.
Some people find it strange i still use my old camera and make slides, but looking at slides still has it's appeal. Sitting in the room, looking at slides with a drink in your hand..... 8-]
The main reason for going digital, is the easy way to get my pictures on the web. No need to develop and scan the photo's / slides.
This means i have to work twice as fast if i want a digital photo and a slide of a moving aircraft..... 8-] Seriously, i only make slides when i have the time. Digital has the first priority.
Almost forgot i also watched the last disc of "Shogun", a miniserie (on DVD) i bought a few weeks ago. Was great to see it again on TV. Yep, also saw the miniserie when it aired on TV some years ago.
Well, that's all for now. Have to get in bed early, tomorrow the shift starts at 0600 hours.

A short piece, adding to the part about me beiing allowed to use the V.D.G.S. system at work. A few days ago i also got a '400Hz' pass. That enables me to provide ground power to aircraft, parked on a stand (or gate) if the systems works.
Going to pick up some slides from my short break in Geneva, the next hours.
